Tayo Omoniyi
Founder and editor of Kairos Reports, and the anchor of The Tayo Report. Nigerian, working from Cabo Verde.
What he does here
Tayo Omoniyi set up Kairos Reports in 2026 around one rule: every factual claim carries its source, printed under the sentence it supports. He edits every piece on the site, writes The Tayo Report in the first person, scripts Kairos Explains, and signs The Files. Investigations are reviewed per incident by counsel before publication.
How to hold him to it
- Every piece he signs lists its sources in full at the end and carries a statement of why it is published.
- Corrections to anything he writes are logged publicly on /corrections.
- Anyone named in his work can reply under the process on /about/right-of-reply, and the reply runs in full.
- He holds no political office or party membership and takes no payment from any person or institution he writes about. If that changes, this page will say so first.
