The same Brief, in the app most Nigerians already read news in. No algorithm between us and you; a channel message reaches everyone who joined. We cannot see your number, and you cannot be messaged by other followers.
Join on WhatsAppOne message a day. Reply to any of them and a person reads it.
What happens to your address
It goes to our newsletter provider and nowhere else. Subscriber records are kept entirely separate from editorial records: the system that holds sources and documents never sees a reader's email, and the newsletter list never sees a source. Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 exempts journalism from most of its obligations; it does not exempt a mailing list, and we do not treat it as if it did. Unsubscribe is one click in every email.
