Court sacks Uzodimma as APC’s Imo West senatorial candidate, orders INEC to recognise Okorocha

According to Punch and TVC News, a Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered INEC to publish former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha as the APC candidate for Imo West. Nigerian Tribune and Vanguard reported that the court sacked Uzodinma as the party's senatorial candidate for the district. Premium Times reported that the judge ruled Okorocha won the APC primary, not Uzodimma. Justice Obiora Egwuatu issued the order, according to Punch and Nigerian Tribune. The sources agree that the ruling concerns the May 18 APC primary, though the spelling of the candidate's name varies across outlets. The sources do not describe any response from the parties. Summary from 5 sources

Sources differ: Punch and TVC News refer to the 2027 general elections and INEC publication, while the other outlets focus on the court sacking the candidate, so the emphasis differs but no outcome conflicts.
