Sowore, police clash over account of attack in Ekiti

Omoyele Sowore, AAC presidential candidate, has faulted the Ekiti State Police Command over its description of an attack on him in Ado-Ekiti, according to Punch. Punch reported that the police called the incident an altercation. Vanguard reported that the police dismissed reports that Sowore was kidnapped by armed men in the state capital, describing the incident as an altercation with individuals at a restaurant around the Dalimore area. The sources agree the police described the incident as an altercation, but the excerpts do not give the police's full account or any outcome of the dispute. Summary from 2 sources
