Privacy
Short, because there is little to say. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads nothing from a third party and serves its fonts from its own domain. The page you are reading was built in advance as a static file; nothing about you is computed when you open it.
What we do not collect
- No cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics scripts. We do not know who you are, where you came from or what you read.
- No third-party requests. The browser's content-security policy on every page forbids them.
What is collected, and by whom
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for a limited period for security and operations. We do not export or analyse them. Netlify's own privacy policy governs that processing.
- Images and the live feed. Story images and the live JSON feeds are served from
live.kairosreports.com, a server we operate. Its web-server logs hold the same standard fields and are rotated. - Subscribing. When you subscribe to The Brief, the address you type is sent to our newsletter provider through an automation endpoint and stored there to send you the email. That is the only request that ever leaves this site with your data. Every email carries an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes the address from the active list.
- Email to us. If you write to a Kairos Reports address, we keep the correspondence for as long as the matter is open and for our records of corrections and right-of-reply requests.
- Search. Site search sends your query to our own search endpoint on
live.kairosreports.com. Queries are not stored with any identifier.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing, by writing to corrections@kairosreports.com. Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 applies to us as a Nigerian-operated publisher; where you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR rights apply as well. We answer within 30 days.
Who is responsible
Kairos Reports is operated by El-Kairos International Services, part of the Kairos Financial Systems group. Contact details are on /contact.
